When Mohamed, a skilled UI developer, started affiliate marketing, he quickly discovered it was a lucrative way to make extra income.

He tried several well-known advertising networks and Max Conv to track performance and measure traffic quality. He monitored traffic volume and conversion rates to identify the network with the best traffic quality.
“Simply put, the higher the conversion rate, the more profit you will make.”
He adds: “You can determine the conversion rate by linking the network to a tracking system to measure traffic quality, which helps you decide whether to work with that network or not.”
After determining the best ways to get high-quality, conversion-ready paid traffic, Mohamed integrated Monetag Popunder ads and ProPush push notifications to generate revenue from his traffic.
Analyzing and Optimizing Campaigns
“Initially, my campaigns were random and incurred significant losses,” Mohamed remembers. Determined to make this new page successful, he iterated on his campaign settings for the best results.
“The setup for my campaigns has evolved until I reached the current settings.”
He carefully tracked the performance of his ads, made data-driven decisions to optimize his campaigns, and adjusted them based on country, operating system, and browser.
He filtered traffic by these criteria to target his ads more effectively, creating a tailored experience that resonated with his audience.
For example, he noted that visits from Malawi with a CPM of 5.45 for iOS systems performed well, so he created a campaign based on that data.
Collecting and Monetizing Email Addresses
Mohamed soon shifted his focus to increasing his profits further by using the email addresses he collected. By using paid traffic and promoting his landing page in relevant Facebook groups, he collected over 5,000 email addresses.
He stored the email addresses in Appwrite, an open-source database connected to his landing page. From there, he ran targeted email campaigns to scale his profits.
“I promote the landing page through Facebook groups interested in this field and targeted paid ads for those interested in this offer.
I have collected over 5,000 emails in the database, allowing me to run email campaigns to increase profits.
Campaign Results
Mohamed’s approach toward making money with Monetag and paid traffic paid off well. Using this strategy, he earned $2,400 of additional income in just 3 months from all his Monetag campaigns.

Ensure legal data collection
Make sure that the process is clear and transparent, so that your users subscribe and share details consciously. Otherwise, you will have problems with conversions and will massively unsubscribe from your email list. If your users unsubscribe, make sure to process their requests timely.
Start with quality traffic
“Beginners should choose a network that generates high traffic volume and conversion rate.
Put simply, the higher the conversion rate, the more profit you will make. You can determine the conversion rate by linking the network to a tracking system to measure traffic quality, which helps you decide whether or not to work with that network.”
Use Fiverr or Upwork for tailored landing pages
“For those who do not know how to code, try paid services from Upwork or Fiverr, costing around $50 for a tailored landing page.”
